American Travels - HSO Spring Concert Series
Sunday, March 29, 2026 (2:30 PM - 4:00 PM) (CDT)
Description
The spring series, American Travels, is a celebration of composers from across the country.
Whether it’s exploring the outdoors with Aaron Copland, soaring to new heights with John Powell, or tackling the Civil Rights Movement with Margaret Bonds, this concert will explore our rich musical heritage. As part of our mission to promote the next generation of artists, we will present the winner of the 2026 Composer Competition.
HSO concerts are free and welcome an audience of all ages.
*Donations are graciously accepted by mail, at the door, and online at www.heartlandsymphony.com
American Travels will be presented in:
- Little Falls at 7:30PM on Saturday, March 28th
- Brainerd at 2:30PM on Sunday, March 29th
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board and the Five Wings Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
In Little Falls, the Laura Jane Musser Fund provides additional support.
