Chalet Manager


Summary: The Chalet will oversee chalet day-to-day operations at MSG


Skills needed: Leadership and problem-solving, staff management, basic computer skills, POS system, customer service, willingness to work inside and outside


Job Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing day-to-day hiring, scheduling, and training of staff for all departments.

  • Season pass development and management.

  • Group/Program Scheduling.

  • Assist in implementation and/or planning of special events year-round.

  • Assist with registration and scheduling of all programming year-round.

  • Willingness to be the Master of the POS System.

  • Ordering, organization and management of: ticketing, merchandise, rental, and office.

  • Oversee Rental & Tickets & help outside managers oversee lift and tubing operators.

  • Office Management- phones, emails, organization.

  • Knowledge or willingness to learn invoicing, payroll, and other business management skills.

  • Marketing- Website management, email marketing, social media, etc.

  • Cleanliness and Appearance of Chalet

  • Willingness to understand and oversee outside operational employees, some outdoor tasks assigned as needed, especially in summer months.

  • Act as the manager on duty during operating hours.

  • Other duties as assigned. 


Requirements:

  • 18+

  • Customer service experience

  • Full-Time year-round position, hourly, Winter 35-45 hours/week, Summer 10-25 hours/week. 

  • Must be available to work weekends (at least 1 weekend day/week preferably 2) in the months November-March.

  • General Schedule September-April 5-6 days/week, May-August 2-3 days/week.

  • Pay: DOE starts at $20-$22/hr
