WAVE YPN: Lakes Area Music Festival Pop-Up

Join the WAVE Young Professionals Network for a unique pop-up experience: A Night at the Opera, hosted by the acclaimed Lakes Area Music Festival at the Gichi-Ziibi Center for the Arts.

This is more than just a night out — it’s an opportunity to step outside your comfort zone and experience something truly one-of-a-kind in the Lakes Area. Whether opera is brand new to you or you're simply looking for a fresh way to connect, this evening is designed for young professionals who want to try something new, together. 

Thanks to a special partnership between LAMF and WAVE, this event is free to attend for current WAVE members. Registration is required by July 31, and tickets will be reserved for those who sign up in advance. Upon arrival, simply visit the box office to claim your ticket. A seating block has been reserved so WAVE members can enjoy the performance together.

About this Event

Whether you are a lifelong opera fan or just stepping into this world for the very first time, this is your chance to experience opera’s greatest moments all in one concert, featuring our cast of Resident Artists and the LAMF Symphony Orchestra.

Our Resident Artist Program provides singers early in their careers with mentorship and performance opportunities. These artists work one on one with our team of directors and coaches to hone their craft while participating in productions and performances alongside our roster of world-renowned principal singers.

Cost

FREE to Wave Members. A free will donation to the Lakes Area Music Festival is encouraged.

Registration is required. Tickets will be reserved ONLY for those we are registered to attend. Registration deadline: July 31, 2025.
