The Great Easter Vigil

The Great Easter Vigil is often a favorite for Christians. In it the Church transitions from the penitential season of Lent to the joyful season of Easter. It is a longer liturgy, but don't let that fool you. You won't be bored as it moves along quickly, but not in a hurry through the six services: Light, Readings, Baptism, Prayer, Word, and Sacrament. Everyone will depart in great joy and anticipation for the Great Feast of Easter the next morning.
