Taste of the Lakes Is Back!

The 33rd annual Kinship Partners Taste of the Lakes fundraiser will be held Friday, November 12th in the Gull Lake Center at Grand View Lodge in Nisswa.

This event will be a fun evening comprised of some of your favorites – wine, beer and spirit tastings; silent and live auctions; live music; and, of course, incredible food prepared for you by an impressive array of local chefs.  Awards will be presented by a celebrity judge for Best Starter, Best Entrée, and Best Dessert while YOU get to vote for the highly coveted People’s Choice award!

Congrats to our 2019 event winners:

Best Starter:  Chef Derek Hyatt from Bar Harbor Supper Club for their Grilled Naan Bread Lobster Rolls.

Best Entrée: Chef Shane Moore from Grand View Lodge for their Sous Vide Scallops with Truffle Gnocchi.

Best Dessert: Chef Sarah Martz from Heartwood Senior Living Center for their Banana’s Foster Crème Brûlée.

People’s Choice Award: Chef Paul Fitzpatrick, Main Street Ale House for their Pastrami Short Rib, with Warm Fingerling Potato Salad, Whole Grain Mustard Demi Glace.
