Business After Hours - The Preserve

Gather your 'team' and join The Preserve Golf Course as they host Business After Hours on Thursday, June 22, 2023, from 4:30 - 6:00PM at their location south of Pequot Lakes. This special Business After Hours will be showcasing their newest culinary venture, Northern Soul Smokehouse, in partnership with St. Paul based chef, Justin Sutherland. Working alongside Grand View Lodge's Executive Chef William Coyle, the restaurant brings smokehouse flavors and bucket-list bourbon to the resort's award-winning golf course, The Preserve. Business After Hours is our most highly attended networking event! Guests will enjoy mixing with other Chamber members, delicious appetizers and beverages and prizes. Meet the Hosts

The Preserve combines the experience golf and nature in harmony as golfers play this championship course strategically placed in some of Minnesota’s best forest and wetlands. The Preserve is known for its scenic elevated tees and its tour speed greens. In 2015 a near million dollar renovation changed the size and shape of all five sets of tees and allowed for even more pristine playing conditions. The remodeled clubhouse features one of the best deck views in Minnesota. 

Rising to fame as champion of Food Network's "Iron Chef America" and a contestant on Bravo's "Top Chef," Justin Sutherland owns and operates numerous highly acclaimed restaurants, including the Handsome Hog; Big E, an egg sandwich shop; Noyes and Cutler, a modern American steakhouse; and northern Soul the Restaurant. Born and raised in Minnesota, Sutherland has always felt connected to Grand View Lodge and following his role as keynote speaker at the resort's de'Vine Wine & Culinary Weekend 2020, ideas of a partnership sparked, with the intent to bring a new twist and sensory experience to the resort community.
