Brainerd Memorial Day

Description

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend Memorial Day ceremonies in Brainerd. It is a free community event. 9:00 am, a wreath is thrown into the Mississippi River from the Laurel Street Bridge. 9:30 am, short ceremony at the All-Veterans Memorial. 10:00 am, parade on 3rd Avenue NE to Evergreen Cemetery. 10:30 am, after the parade, the main ceremony will be at Evergreen Cemetery. In case of rain, the main ceremony will be at the National Guard Armory at 1115 Wright Street in south Brainerd.
