Come celebrate all things Irish in Downtown Brainerd with food and drink specials, family activities, Medallion hunt, and parade (1pm). Kid’s Costume Contest Registration at 11:30 a.m. at the Brainerd VFW Contest at 12:00 p.m. 1st Place: Bicycle for both the first place girl and boy 2nd Place: Special prize package 3rd Place: Special prize package Goodie bags for the first 30 participants. Downtown Parade Parade starts at 1:00 p.m. Prizes for floats include: Best of Parade: $100 plus prize package 1st Place: $50 towards Grand Casino Mille Lacs & one night lodging 2nd Place: $25 gift certificate to O’Neary’s Irish Pub and Shep’s on 6th Parade registration information available HERE. Medallion Hunt Seek out the medallion and win $250 in cash! Watch for clues in the Brainerd Dispatch starting Monday, March 6. A new clue will be revealed each day. Medallion must be returned to Shep’s on 6th by 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 11.
