2019 WinterFest Medallion Hunt - Crosslake

THE WINTERFEST Medallion has been found!  Concratulations to Robb Reed, Cruz Megazzini and Karen Megazzini who scored a prize package valued at more than $2,000!  They found the medallion behind the Chamber Welcome Center at 9:10 this morning. 

Somewhere within the city limits of Crosslake, the WinterFest Golden Medallion lays slumbering amidst a bed of freshly fallen snow.  Each year during WinterFest, a series of three daily clues are given and some lucky enthusiast will find the medallion and enjoy a basket of goods, services and gift cards courtesy of Crosslake merchants.  Reminder - no destruction of anything is necessary, it is located within the Crosslake city limits and NOT on private residential property.

Clue #1 -
Welcome to the 16th Annual Winterfest
This one promises to be the absolute best
Bring along mom, dad and little tot
You'll find it near where X marks the spot

Clue #2 -
Whether you drive a car, snowmobile or truck
You may need to watch out for a stray hockey puck
Look low or look high
Everyone should give it a try

Clue #3 -
What once stood tall is now a snag
If you don't get there first, oh what a drag
Thank you to the Lions for this donation
It could result in a big celebration

We're thankful to our Chamber for the WinterFest plans
If you need help stand on a couple of cans
Strap on your boots and take a walk out back
Don't be discouraged just follow the track
