Event Description

Eco Explorers: STEM Adventure Camp

Curious kids don’t just want to learn about science—they want to do it.

Eco Explorers is a four-day, hands-on STEM camp at the Northland Arboretum designed for ages 11–14. Campers will spend their days building, testing, and exploring as they dive into real-world science in an outdoor setting.

Throughout the week, participants will:

  • Build and race a solar-powered car
  • Design and test water filtration systems
  • Conduct experiments and field investigations
  • Learn how scientists use technology to track wildlife like moose and wolves

This is not a sit-in-a-classroom experience. Campers will be active, engaged, and learning by doing—whether they’re running experiments, solving problems, or exploring the Arb’s trails.

With a small group size of just 12 campers, each participant gets a more personalized, hands-on experience.
