Create and Paint with Sara: Memories of Easters Past

Description

We are offering a selection of vintage style paper and various paper ephemera, such as old piano music, to begin your project with a background of your choice. Follow along with Sara to apply your background onto a 12×12 canvas board and we’ll help you distress it to your liking. This example was done with a chick outline, but options such as a butterfly or a bunny will be available. Some of those options will be rub-ons available for purchase. Stencils, stamps, and graphite paper transfer are included in the cost. Paint is applied with minimal detail to create a distressed, silhouette style. We will show you how to use Guilding Wax by Paint Couture to apply metallic accents in gold, copper and light blue/green. A bit of raffia anchors the silhouette. Join us for an evening of creativity and fun! Go home with a piece of art you will want to keep on display for years to come. (Frame is not included.)
