Gather your team, friends, family and join us for our most popular networking event, Business After Hours, hosted by Mills Automotive Group at their Mills Ford Lincoln Dealership in Baxter on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 4:30 - 6:00PM. Guests will enjoy this highly popular networking event by mixing with other Chamber members, a variety of delicious appetizers catered by 3 Cheers Hospitality (ham and cheese sliders, bacon turkey sliders, honey bbq meatballs, veggie platter, artichoke dip and kettle chips), beverages catered by Westside Liquor (beer, seltzer, wine, pop and water), chances for prizes and learning more about this business from Marisa Mills, Owner, Brady Sladek, Director of Dealership Operations, Sid Osterman, The BodyWorks General Manager, Dawn Rasmussen, Mills GM General Manager, and Brandon Gruber, Mills Honda General Manager during their interview with Matt Kilian, Brainerd Lakes Chamber President, as part of this free business networking social event.

Meet the Host

Stewart C. Mills Sr. purchased the Lively Auto Company in Brainerd, Minnesota in 1922, selling Chevrolets and Hupmobiles during those initial years. The building’s garage door opened for business every morning by turning a large wooden wheel, which has since become the symbol for the Mills Automotive Group and all their dealerships. Mills opened its first Ford-Lincoln dealership in Brainerd, Minnesota in 1931 under the name Mills Motor. In 1937 Mercury was added to the dealership, at the time located where the present Mills GM / Buick property is now just off Hwy. 371. The Mills Automotive Group now carries new vehicle inventory for 11 auto manufacturers Ford, Lincoln, GMC, Buick, Chrysler, Dodge, RAM, Jeep, Honda, Toyota and Nissan,  as well as a large selection of pre-owned vehicles through the five dealership locations in Brainerd / Baxter and Willmar, Minnesota. Mills Automotive Group also includes: The BodyWorks Super Collision Center, Mills Auto Xtreme, Radco Truck Accessory Center, Mills Parts Center and Mills Truck Service Center for more service options.
