WAVE YPN: Goals, Growth, and Connection

December 1, 2026 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM (CST)

Description

There's a lot to learn from experienced leaders. But what about the young professionals who are figuring things out right alongside us?

This December, WAVE Young Professionals Network for is turning the spotlight on local young professionals and the goals they've set for themselves. From goals they've accomplished to plans that didn't quite work out, our panelists will share what they've learned, how they've grown, and what they're working toward next.

Come hear from people you can relate to, pick up ideas for approaching your own professional and personal goals, and connect with other young professionals who are navigating their careers, too.

A special thank you to The Venue for being our venue sponsor for this month's event!

This event is FREE for WAVE Members. Guests are $25.

This event is open to all individuals age 18-39 regardless of Chamber of WAVE Membership.

Key Takeaways

✔ Hear from your peers: Gain perspective from young professionals at different stages of their careers who are working toward goals of their own. Hear personal stories from other young professionals in the Brainerd Lakes Area.

Why Young Professionals Should Attend

You don't need to have your career figured out to start making progress toward your goals.

Hear from fellow young professionals who are setting goals, navigating challenges, celebrating wins, and learning along the way. They'll share what worked, what didn't, and how they've adapted when things didn't go as planned.

Whether you're working toward a promotion, developing new skills, growing in your current role, or figuring out what's next, you'll gain practical ideas for setting meaningful goals, taking ownership of your professional growth, and turning your ambitions into action.
