Money doesn’t have to be intimidating—and understanding it is one of the smartest investments you can make in yourself. At our November WAVE event, workshop leader Nicole Pfeffer of Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union will help you break down Credit Reports and Interest Rates—showing exactly how your score affects your borrowing power for loans. Walk away knowing what influences your score and how small changes today can save you big tomorrow.

Workshop Leader // Meet Nicole Pfeffer

My career in the financial industry started back in 2001. Since that time I have had the privilege of learning many roles such as teller, consumer loan officer, loan processor as well as a mortgage lender. I started with Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union in 2016 as our Alexandria Branch Manager and in 2023 I was able to take my 20+ years of experience into our community outreach department to help others not only learn about financial topics but to also help them one-on-one with their finances. I enjoy interacting with people in every financial stage, school-age kids to adults and senior citizens. When I am not talking about financial literacy, you will find me enjoying all the wonderful lakes and trails that the Midwest has to offer!


What is WAVE Young Professionals Network?
WAVE YPN is a NEW networking and professional development program for individuals aged 18-39 in the Brainerd Lakes Area. This program is organized by the Brainerd Lakes Chamber and led by a team of young individuals representing a wide variety of industries across our community.
