Saturday, May 28, 2022 (10:30 AM - 12:00 PM) (CDT)

Description

Presented by Paul Jacobsen- MN Master Naturalist

In this class you will learn how to use wood from our local forests as a low-cost sustainable way to make useful household items, including bowls, furniture and utensils. You will be taught what local trees are best, how and when to harvest the trees, how to store the wood, and how to use it green or air-dry it for later use. Paul will bring examples of green wood and finished wood projects to demonstrate what can be made.
