Public speaking isn’t about microphones or stages—it’s what happens every time you speak up in a meeting, share an idea, ask for what you want, or stay silent when you have something to say.

In this interactive workshop, you’ll explore how your voice impacts your leadership, your relationships, and your success. We’ll look at what it really means to stop hiding, communicate with clarity and presence, listen as a power move, and speak up when it matters most. This isn’t about sounding perfect—it’s about being heard and creating real connection.

Meet Dr. Naomi Schmid, owner of Naomi Schmid Coaching, LLC and member of the Paul Bunyan Toastmasters Club. Dr. Naomi Schmid is a coach, former healthcare leader, and podiatrist who helps people find and use their voice with clarity, confidence, and authenticity. Drawing on her leadership background and deep appreciation for intentional communication, Naomi believes public speaking goes far beyond the stage—it’s a daily practice that shapes how we lead, connect, and live.

WAVE YPN is a NEW networking and professional development program for individuals aged 18-39 in the Brainerd Lakes Area. This program is organized by the Brainerd Lakes Chamber and led by a team of young individuals representing a wide variety of industries across our community.
