BRAINERD ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE

Downtown Brainerd is proud to host the annual St Patrick's Day Parade.

"The Day of the Festival of Patrick" is a cultural and religious holiday typically celebrated on March 17th. It is named after Saint Patrick  the most commonly recognised of the patron saints of Ireland. The traditional day commemorates Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland, as well as celebrates the heritage and culture of the Irish in general.

MEDALLION HUNT 

Medallion Clues will be released in the Brainerd Dispatch March 12-16. If the luck of the Irish hits you and you find the medallion return it to Shep's on 6th.

ST PATRICK'S DAY

11:30 am - noon at the Brainerd VFW - Kids Costume Contest!

  • The first 30 participants receive a goodie bag!
  • 1st place for boy and girl recieve a bicycle!
  • 2nd & 3rd place for boy and girl receive special prize packages

1 pm – Parade through Downtown Brainerd

 

Enjoy the festivites, stop in a tavern for green beer, visit the unique shops, or stop for ice cream or fine chocolates. Downtown Brainerd offers plenty of things to do for all ages. Local artist Greg Gray will be drawing caricatures at the VFW. Make sure to stop by!
